Eu sou pai do primeiro ano de uma menina do 10º ano e amo esta escola. Eu o recomendo para qualquer pessoa que tenha um distrito escolar reprovado dentro do PGH. O horário escolar é um pouco mais desgastante para as crianças, mas no geral acho que as prepara para a faculdade e, finalmente, para a idade adulta. A única coisa que acho que a escola deveria trabalhar é ensinar as crianças a respeitarem umas às outras durante o horário escolar. Embora isso seja algo que deve ser instilado em casa; e, infelizmente, nem sempre é feito; a escola deve buscar formas de reforçar isso. Tive três incidentes com minha filha este ano em que ela foi alvo de maldade, ignorância e quase intimidação. Eu sei que a maioria das escolas secundárias não pode policiar tudo; mas a única coisa em que a escola se concentra durante as orientações aos pais e alunos é como eles esperam que cada aluno aja. Com essas situações, parece que eles precisam dar às crianças mais orientações sobre como respeitar os colegas.

De maneira geral, ainda sinto que minha filha cresceu academicamente e que se formará com uma formação sólida que a preparará para a faculdade e uma boa ética de trabalho para enfrentar o mercado de trabalho.

Eu entrego aqui com frequência e gosto do que vejo. As crianças são educadas e os funcionários não são idiotas como alguns lugares que eu vou!
