Recentemente, minha mãe de 78 anos estava se recuperando em Mercy após uma cirurgia no joelho. Visitei-a várias vezes e a encontrei feliz e bem cuidada. Ela gostou da comida, muitas vezes recebendo mais do que esperava, teve uma ótima resposta da ajuda e foi tratada de forma excelente pelo grupo de reabilitação. Ela pessoalmente estava feliz com a forma como eles a impulsionaram para uma recuperação mais saudável.
Fiquei satisfeito com a equipe, a diretora e a equipe dela, que se esforçaram para ter certeza de que ela estava feliz e confortável. Eles realmente têm ouvidos atentos e corações carinhosos no Mercy!

Minha mãe faleceu há mais de um ano. Ela passou seus últimos quatro meses no Mercy. Eu moro em outro estado e estava na Califórnia para uma visita. Claro, ir lá sempre me faz pensar em minha mãe, e eu estava pensando em Mercy e no cuidado maravilhoso que ela recebeu e pensei em deixar um comentário. Para mim, sendo um residente de outro estado, era muito importante para mim ter certeza de que minha mãe estava bem cuidada. Visitei muitas vezes durante seus últimos quatro meses, pois sabíamos que ela não tinha muito tempo. Minha mãe foi tratada com o maior respeito e compaixão de todos, fosse de Tamra, a diretora e sua equipe direta; as enfermeiras; ou a equipe de manutenção. Todos eles foram incríveis com ela (e nós como sua família). Eles sempre me receberam bem e responderam todas as minhas perguntas. Eles estavam cheios de bondade e compaixão. Eu me sinto muito abençoada por ela estar em um ambiente tão bom até o fim. Eu recomendaria este lugar a qualquer pessoa.

O Mercy Care Center seria bom para aposentadoria, NÃO BOM para cuidados de nível de enfermagem assistida ou especializada. Eles têm chef fino, sala de jantar de tipo de restaurante fino ... mas NO QUARTO o atendimento é terrível. Meu irmão esteve lá 6 meses ... em uma vida qualificada e assistida ... finalmente na cama 24 horas por dia, 7 dias por semana, pelos últimos 2 meses. Ele NÃO foi mantido limpo, esperou HORAS após apertar o botão para pedir ajuda .... semanas para tomar banho .... mais de 6 semanas para lavar o cabelo ... Há claramente a Pretensão da Misericórdia sendo uma instituição católica, como já foi, mas meu irmão não conseguiu nem mesmo receber a comunhão depois da missa dominical no auditório do Mercy. Eu morava longe, então só podia ligar e RECLAMAR e pedir um atendimento melhor ... mas tal não foi prestado. Meu conselho: fique longe se você não for móvel ou tire seu parente de lá se ele / ela precisar de mais ajuda. O administrador
deve ser substituído por alguém que entende melhor o seu trabalho. O Departamento de Cobrança NÃO tem problemas com seu trabalho ... nosso custo por mês subindo para mais de $ 8300 (para serviços listados que não foram entregues). Eu protestei e tive essa conta enorme reduzida depois de me recusar a pagá-la.

Graças a Deus, uma gentil Enfermeira Hospice finalmente chegou 3 semanas antes de ele morrer .. dando banho 3 vezes por semana na cama, lavando seu cabelo e mantendo-o limpo e confortável. Abençoe ela.
