Contratamos o iFour para projetar e desenvolver nosso portal. Concordamos com a duração do projeto de três meses, que se baseava em uma especificação detalhada que abrangia os vários elementos nas páginas específicas. Eles elaboraram um plano de projeto que o veria concluído dentro desse prazo.

Deixamos claro em nossas reuniões iniciais com o iFour e em nossas especificações que tipo de design queríamos, no entanto, seus designs iniciais pareciam algo que foi preparado às pressas em algumas horas e sem muita influência em nossos requisitos.

Além disso, desde o início, o iFour estava atrasado em seus alvos e acabou pulando o wireframe para voltar aos trilhos.

Durante todo o projeto, a qualidade do trabalho deixou muito a desejar e tivemos que corrigir alguns aspectos que pensávamos que um designer estaria ciente, como homogeneidade dos elementos de design, espaçamento de elementos e outros aspectos básicos do design.

Sete meses de projeto (três meses), a empresa começou a ser muito evasiva respondendo aos nossos pedidos de atualizações de progresso e finalmente abandonou o projeto no final daquele mês, tendo apenas concluído a fase de design, quanto mais o desenvolvimento de HTML.

A justificativa deles foi que eles subestimaram a quantidade de trabalho necessária, no entanto, isso dificilmente é uma desculpa, dado o nível de especificação que fornecemos. Dado seu desempenho de baixa qualidade, é difícil acreditar que houve algum comprometimento sério de sua parte com o projeto.

Pagamos por uma parte substancial do projeto como um depósito, mas eles nunca entregaram nenhuma das entregas associadas ao projeto que foi concluído. Tivemos uma perda financeira substancial além do tempo perdido tentando trabalhar com esta empresa.

Com base em nossa péssima experiência com o iFour, bem como nas perdas financeiras em que incorremos, desencorajamos qualquer pessoa de confiar a eles seus requisitos de design ou desenvolvimento da web.
