Tive e administrei uma pequena empresa em South Pasadena por 20 anos. Em 20 de maio de 2020, no meio da pandemia Covid-19, alguém deste negócio veio para enviar um pacote para Marina Del Rey. Era muito grande e valioso. Por causa de nossos requisitos de seguro, indicamos que ele precisava ser enviado por via aérea no dia seguinte. Ressaltamos a ele por causa da pandemia, a UPS no dia seguinte e os serviços aéreos no segundo dia não estavam mais garantidos (garantia de devolução do dinheiro). Ele disse que entendeu, mas não teve tempo de pegá-lo sozinho e que iria enviá-lo via UPS no dia seguinte. Por causa do volume extremamente alto a encomenda atrasou-se e acabou sendo entregue no dia 22 de maio, com um dia de atraso. Um mês depois, descobri que a cobrança pela remessa foi estornada em seu cartão de crédito. Agora, eu tenho que gastar tempo para contestar isso. Sou uma empresa independente (uma franquia) e esperava que eles pudessem falar comigo primeiro, antes de reverter a cobrança desta transação.
Estou operando meu negócio durante esta crise, prestando serviços essenciais aos meus clientes e é muito desanimador ser tratado assim.
