Tivemos uma experiência TERRÍVEL em West Shore Laylum. A Fraser Health colocou meu pai neste centro de saúde em março de 2016. West Shore Laylum perdeu os novos aparelhos auditivos do meu pai, 2 pares de óculos graduados, carteira de couro, cinto, sapatos, chapéu, camisas e vários outros pertences pessoais. A gerência demonstrou uma total falta de empatia e interesse quando relatamos a falta desses itens. CUIDADO: Não há absolutamente nenhuma responsabilidade ou responsabilidade pelas posses dos residentes vulneráveis. Não espere desculpas quando as coisas "desaparecerem misteriosamente" também. WEST SHORE LAYLUM APENAS NÃO SE IMPORTA. Evite esta facilidade a todo custo.

O prédio pode ser muito antigo, mas a equipe merece 5/5. Absolutamente pessoas incrivelmente gentis trabalhando lá.

Meu pai passou apenas 9 meses em West Shore Laylum. É um prédio velho e abarrotado de gente. Durante sua estada, descobrimos que sua condição física geral realmente piorou. Para nós, ele parecia excessivamente medicado, mal andava, não era mais capaz de se alimentar. Ao se mudar para outro centro de cuidados em Vancouver, sua condição física e energia melhoraram imediatamente. Ele estava caminhando e era capaz de se alimentar sozinho. Também descobrimos que, enquanto estávamos em West Shore Laylum, muitos dos pertences pessoais de meu pai desapareceram misteriosamente. Inúmeros telefonemas e e-mails sobre os itens perdidos foram em vão. A equipe e a gerência da West Shore Laylum mostraram uma verdadeira falta de cuidado. Nós, como família, não ouvimos nada além de desculpas da Administração. Nunca um pedido de desculpas! Idosos sob cuidados merecem melhor.

Westshore Laylum pode ser antigo, mas é, de longe, o melhor lar no continente. Nossos pais tiveram a sorte de passar seus últimos anos neste estabelecimento muito atencioso. A equipe é extremamente gentil e realmente coloca as preocupações dos pacientes no topo de sua lista. A comida, as atividades e a atmosfera criam um lugar aconchegante e amigável para chamar de lar. Obrigado a todos os funcionários por tornarem os últimos anos de mamãe e papai tão agradáveis.

Estive aqui várias vezes para visitar amigos. É um prédio muito antigo e lotado. Os residentes estão estacionados em um saguão estreito em suas cadeiras de rodas, um de frente para o outro, esperando a morte. É horrível.
