Há três anos, usamos essa instalação para fazer terapia da fala com meu filho. Com o início do bloqueio devido à Covid-19, fiquei extremamente preocupado com a possibilidade de a terapia parar e, em seguida, meu filho regredir enormemente. Depois de passar anos fazendo com que ele chegasse onde estava, estávamos muito preocupados. Com as mudanças repentinas trazidas em meados de março - tirando-o da escola sem aviso prévio e, em seguida, mudando-o de sua casa em Londres para um lugar no campo - sua habilidade de falar caiu drasticamente em duas semanas. O apoio que recebemos, de Vicky em particular, foi excelente. Imediatamente, foram oferecidas sessões de zoom remoto. Inicialmente eu estava hesitante, como uma criança de 5 anos lidaria com a terapia em uma tela? Vicky foi incrível - todos os jogos, livros e outras ferramentas das sessões normais estavam lá e fizeram nosso filho se sentir relaxado. Demorou algumas semanas para se ajustar - mas agora ele é um profissional! Ele recuperou tudo o que havia perdido nas primeiras semanas e agora também está começando a melhorar. Se você está preocupado em como a terapia remota pode funcionar, não se preocupe! É ótimo.
