Eu fiz minha certificação PADI open water aqui. O instrutor (e outros profissionais de mergulho) foram bons, compreensivos e muito úteis. As pessoas que operam a loja de mergulho foram super amigáveis também.
Seven seas scuba está convenientemente localizado em Cannery Row, e os mergulhos em águas abertas reais são feitos na praia a menos de 100 metros de distância. Isso torna coisas como reabastecer cilindros vazios, alugar equipamentos ou devolver equipamentos muito fáceis.
A única desvantagem que vejo é a água fria de Monterey, que geralmente tem uma visibilidade muito baixa. Eu perdi meu amigo algumas vezes enquanto passava por seções onde a visibilidade era de apenas 1 metro. Claro, a loja não tem controle sobre isso.
Eu quero um mergulho guiado com Seven Seas ontem (como um novato OWD), e tive uma ótima experiência. Dave, o divemaster / instrutor, foi muito pessoal e entusiasmado, e ótimo para mergulhar. O equipamento alugado também estava em ótimo estado.
O argumento decisivo para esta loja de mergulho, porém, é a localização: é do outro lado da rua do quebra-mar - então, se você quiser mergulhar lá, você pode apenas se vestir na loja, caminhar e pular na água.
