Em primeiro lugar, direi que moro em uma área rural, no meio do nada em Okeechobee, não tenho certeza se eles oferecem outras formas de serviço, mas o que uso com eles requer uma torre, e um de seus modem / pratos receptores, ele sai de uma torre de rádio. Meu entendimento é que é basicamente um enorme sistema wi-fi. Não tenho a menor ideia, mas imagino que eles tenham conexões muito melhores e mais estáveis para pessoas que não precisam depender de toda essa bagunça.
O serviço em si é decente, quando funciona de qualquer maneira, contanto que você tenha uma área limpa, sem árvores a uma boa distância do receptor e uma torre decente para ele estar ligado. É uma alternativa muito melhor aos ISPs de satélite, mas isso não quer dizer muito.
Contudo...
Nos últimos meses houve alguma interferência com as torres daqui ... Eles não parecem estar fazendo nada a respeito. A perda de pacotes é imensamente prejudicial para jogos online e streaming de vídeos em qualquer qualidade decente. Como eu disse, já faz meses ... Tem dias que não tá tão ruim, outros dias tá horrível e eu mal consigo fazer nada.
100 dólares por mês para isso ... até que seja consertado e volte a funcionar como antes, definitivamente um serviço de uma estrela.
