Acabei de concluir um curso de treinamento básico de mediação e resolução de conflitos verdadeiramente fantástico, com 40 horas de duração, oferecido virtualmente pelo OCHR. O curso foi comparativamente acessível e muito bem desenhado. Teve um excelente equilíbrio de aulas ao vivo à noite e nos finais de semana (instrução, perguntas e respostas, discussões em pequenos grupos e simulações de estudo de caso orientadas), bem como trabalhos de casa substantivos e cuidadosamente selecionados (ler, assistir a vídeos e avaliações de compreensão / reflexão). A professora líder do OCHR, Lenora Forschner, foi envolvente, responsiva e organizada e ela foi acompanhada em cada aula por vários outros funcionários do OCHR que ofereceram suas perspectivas, feedback e treinamento. A equipe, todos mediadores experientes, foi atenciosa, atenciosa e enérgica.
