Esperei meses por uma consulta com o psiquiatra e a primeira psiquiatra que recebi, Ann, foi muito crítica e desdenhosa e disse que se o medicamento que ela estava prescrevendo não funcionasse, ela não estava me dando mais nada. Perguntei se posso falar com outro psiquiatra em Millhill para uma segunda opinião e Ann disse que não e posso simplesmente ir para outro lugar se não concordar com ela, mas não teria permissão para falar com outro psiquiatra em Millhill. A medicação acabou me dando efeitos colaterais ruins e descobri com meu terapeuta que poderia solicitar um psiquiatra diferente em Millhill, apesar das mentiras que Ann me contou. Então falei com um coordenador clínico (não tenho certeza de qual era seu título exato) chamado Ian, que me ofereceu uma consulta para falar com outro psiquiatra se eu não quisesse Julgamento Ann, mas eu teria que esperar quase um mês por essa substituição consulta, o tempo todo sem a prescrição de nenhum medicamento novo. Aparentemente, a política em Millhill é que, mesmo que eles optem por contratar psiquiatras rudes com os quais os pacientes não querem trabalhar, os pacientes não podem ser facilmente transferidos para qualquer outro psiquiatra, a menos que queiram esperar quase tanto tempo quanto um novo paciente espera uma consulta psicológica pela primeira vez. Enquanto isso, devemos simplesmente não receber nenhum medicamento nesse ínterim. Já estive em psiquiatras na Califórnia, Flórida e WA, mas Millhill é a primeira organização que automaticamente assumiu que eu estava apenas procurando drogas, embora tenha problemas de saúde mental bem documentados. Não perca seu tempo se preocupando com o falso departamento de psiquiatria de Millhill. A maneira como eles me rejeitaram e me trataram como se eu fosse o problema me deixou mais suicida do que qualquer empresa jamais me fez. Eu não mandaria meu pior inimigo para Millhill, então, por favor, faça um favor a si mesmo e não se incomode com seus "psiquiatras".
