Um lugar muito produtivo, muito estacionamento, o pessoal foi muito gentil. No entanto, eu gostaria que o teste de soldagem fosse diferente. (A propósito, a taxa de pagamento era decente)
Recebi uma peça de prática (junta T de 3/8 "de espessura) e comecei a fazer algumas passagens de solda mig de prática, o arame usado era de 0,045 mig. Peguei a máquina nas configurações que queria e pedi meu teste , que era um tubo quadrado de 1/4 "de espessura.
No começo eu estava indo bem com o meu teste, percebi como o metal base não era muito fino, mas também não era espesso ... mas ainda estava confortável com minhas configurações, sabendo que não soldarei muito quente para queimar o metal base.
Na metade, a pessoa que aplicou o teste aumentou minha temperatura, e foi aí que comecei a depositar soldas que até eu considerava ruins. (Soldagem Mig não é minha especialidade, mas eu sei como é uma solda ruim).
Então eu continuei o teste, eu não mudei as configurações porque eu estava pensando que talvez esta seja a temperatura que eles queimam. O que mais me confundiu foi como uma configuração mais quente foi marcada na máquina pela pessoa que aplicou o teste, embora o metal a ser soldado não fosse tão grosso. As soldas estavam quase na metade queimando o aço, dando uma aparência de "afundamento", quase arranhando o metal ... além de muito corte inferior. Então a pessoa que me deu o teste de solda disse que eu tinha muito undercut (Bem, sim, eu me pergunto por que) e me impediu de fazer o teste.
Obrigado pela oportunidade, mas se eu fosse reprovado em um teste de soldagem, pelo menos me deixe reprovar nas configurações de soldagem que disquei na máquina ... não de alguém que mudou minhas configurações para uma temperatura mais quente para 1/4 "de aço , embora eu já estivesse confortável com minhas configurações originais. Não tenho certeza se a pessoa que mudou minha temperatura fez isso intencionalmente sabendo que as soldas ficarão ruins, ou se eles queriam ver como eu lido com temps mais quentes.
