Lakeside estava usando a (única) entrada de automóveis do meu complexo de apartamentos como estacionamento. Não é tão ruim, a entrada de automóveis é extra larga, então nenhum dano lá. Como resultado, foi um pouco difícil ver o tráfego em sentido contrário, mas optei por morar em uma rodovia, vou lidar com isso todos os dias. Estou na "faixa" para fazer a curva legal à esquerda para a rodovia (cruze 2 faixas no sentido oeste, quebre a linha amarela dupla, entre na faixa da esquerda de 2 faixas no sentido leste da referida rodovia). Normalmente preciso esperar 90 segundos ou mais por uma interrupção considerável no tráfego para fazer a dita curva, mas nunca fui incapaz de fazer a curva legal à esquerda. Bem, esta manhã, um trabalhador da construção civil de Lakeside decidiu ser meu pai (porque eu não devo entender como fazer uma curva à esquerda aqui, apenas sendo um adulto de 30 anos) ou um policial (porque o oficial fornecido pelo Township não estava se reunindo padrões deste trabalhador) e me posicionei na frente do meu veículo. 5 minutos depois, ele ainda está lá, sem tráfego. Quando abro minha janela e digo a ele que preciso virar à esquerda, ele grita de volta que está tentando me impedir de sofrer um acidente (de novo, NINGUÉM estava vindo em nenhuma das direções). Eu digo isso e ele responde "tudo bem, então destrua seu carro." Sim, a detenção ilegal é muito profissional. Eu não recomendaria usar esta empresa, pois eles obviamente não respeitam as pessoas com quem trabalham.
