Nós os nutrimos, orientamos e apoiamos à medida que se tornam adultos confiantes e capazes. E no Greater Wyoming Big Brothers B, levamos esta missão a sério.
Por mais de 100 anos, Big Brothers Big Sisters tem mudado vidas por meio de relacionamentos de orientação. Nossos programas combinam voluntários adultos com crianças que enfrentam adversidades em suas comunidades. É comprovado que esses relacionamentos individuais têm um impacto positivo na vida do mentor e do pupilo.
No Greater Wyoming Big Brothers B, estamos comprometidos em servir nossa comunidade, fornecendo serviços de orientação de alta qualidade para crianças carentes. Nossos programas são projetados para atender às necessidades únicas de cada criança que atendemos, quer precisem de apoio acadêmico ou simplesmente de alguém com quem conversar.
Nosso principal programa é o Mentoring Baseado na Comunidade. Este programa combina voluntários adultos com crianças entre 6 e 18 anos que vivem em nossa comunidade. Os voluntários comprometem-se a passar pelo menos quatro horas por mês com seu pupilo por um período mínimo de um ano.
Também oferecemos orientação baseada no site para crianças que podem não ter acesso a mentores fora do horário escolar. Este programa combina voluntários com alunos durante o almoço ou programas pós-escolares em escolas locais ou centros comunitários.
Além disso, oferecemos serviços especializados de orientação para jovens que sofreram traumas ou estão envolvidos no sistema de justiça juvenil por meio de nosso programa Mentor2Youth.
