Igreja Metodista Unida Garber: Um Lugar de Adoração, Comunidade e Serviço
A Igreja Metodista Unida Garber é uma comunidade de fé vibrante e acolhedora localizada em New Bern, Carolina do Norte. Com uma rica história que remonta a 1884, a Garber Church atende às necessidades espirituais de seus membros e da comunidade em geral há mais de um século.
Na Garber Church, acreditamos que a adoração está no centro de nossa fé. Oferecemos dois cultos de domingo de manhã para acomodar diferentes horários e preferências. Nosso culto das 8h acontece no santuário e oferece um estilo mais tradicional de adoração com hinos, liturgia e comunhão. Nosso culto das 11h acontece no Morris Hall e apresenta música contemporânea liderada por nossa banda de louvor.
Além de nossos cultos de domingo, oferecemos uma variedade de programas para crianças, jovens e adultos durante a semana. Nossas aulas da Escola Dominical oferecem oportunidades de aprendizado e companheirismo para todas as idades. Também temos pequenos grupos que se reúnem regularmente para estudo da Bíblia, oração ou outros interesses compartilhados.
Na Garber Church, estamos comprometidos em servir aos outros local e globalmente. Apoiamos vários ministérios locais, como os Serviços Comunitários Religiosos (RCS), que fornecem assistência alimentar aos necessitados no Condado de Craven. Também fazemos parceria com organizações internacionais como Imagine No Malaria, que trabalha para erradicar a malária na África.
