Mangaluru, 21 de junho: o primeiro vôo fretado pelo KSCC traz kannadigas encalhados de Sharjah para Mangalore.

O Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) (entidade registrada na Community Development Authority, Emirados Árabes Unidos e Governo de Dubai, Emirados Árabes Unidos) é o primeiro clube esportivo e cultural a providenciar um voo fretado para repatriar kannadigas encalhados nos Emirados Árabes Unidos pousados ​​no Aeroporto Internacional de Mangalore às 11h no domingo, 21 de junho,

O voo da Air Arabia com 173 passageiros decolou do aeroporto internacional de Sharjah por volta das 6h00 (horário dos Emirados Árabes Unidos). O voo contou com 29 mulheres grávidas, 16 crianças, 5 bebês, idosos, pessoas com emergências médicas, que perderam o emprego , detentores de visto de visita retidos e aqueles que relataram mortes em suas famílias.

O gerente do KSCC, Sr. Shafi, disse que todos os procedimentos legais foram realizados sem problemas, o voo charter foi organizado apenas para os kannadigas encalhados.

O KSCC montou um help desk para finalizar a lista de passageiros, dado a passagem com desconto para passageiros necessitados que não podem pagar o custo total de repatriação, kits de EPI grátis foram distribuídos a todos os passageiros junto com lanches.

Enquanto isso, testes rápidos para Covid-19 foram conduzidos antes da partida e a quarentena obrigatória para todos os passageiros foi organizada em 3 hotéis (Mangalore) por um período de sete dias.

Shafi, Althaf, Javed, Naseer & Volunteer s oficiais do KSCC estiveram presentes no aeroporto durante o momento da partida para hospitalidade e apoio dos passageiros.
