I recently became a patient of Dr. Victoria Lynn D'Costa.

Dr. D'Costa is knowledgeable, thorough and took time to fully evaluate my condition and expressed true concern.
She placed a number of follow-up calls to check in to ask how I was coming along. This type of genuine patient care is most appreciated and valued.

The Westbury office was pristinely clean and comfortable cheerful. The Staff, especially Marianna, was accommodating, cordial and polite.

I highly recommend Dr. D'Costa and I'm happy to share that I found a Primary Care Dr. that I trust and rely on.

Fiquei muito desapontado por deixar o escritório da Babylon e esperar uma semana pelos resultados de uma cultura de urina que pensei ter sido tirada (como me disseram que seria pelo Dr. Downing) para, em seguida, pedir meus resultados e ser informado de que eles nunca foram tirados . Levo minha saúde muito a sério, como qualquer pessoa faria; este ano tem sido um ano muito difícil para todos devido ao COVID e, além disso, tenho problemas de saúde contra os quais tenho lutado. Cada dia conta; todas as semanas vou ao médico para fazer testes ou aguardar os resultados. Com isso dito, ficar esperando mais de uma semana por resultados que nem mesmo foram tirados e ter o médico se desculpando e afirmando que não sabe ao certo por que isso aconteceu não é aceitável. Colocamos nossa saúde nas mãos de nossos médicos e a saúde de todas as pessoas e devemos ser levados a sério. Se houvesse uma conversa sobre fazer uma cultura de urina e um paciente deixasse o consultório esperando os resultados por uma semana, eu esperaria que uma cultura de urina fosse enviada para atender adequadamente às necessidades de saúde do paciente. Seja por culpa do médico ou da equipe, nenhum paciente deveria esperar por um exame que nem mesmo foi feito. Quando se trata de sua saúde, todos os dias são importantes e cada dia é uma chance de mudar sua saúde. É inaceitável, desanimador e me faz sentir como se minha saúde não fosse uma prioridade. Não deve haver qualquer falha de comunicação ou mal-entendido no que diz respeito à saúde do paciente. Obviamente, o paciente precisa ser seu maior defensor, porque alguns médicos não levam sua saúde tão a sério quanto deveriam.
