Ele nos levou até Nugget Falls e também estava muito ciente dos limites de uma canoa cheia de remadores novatos. David tornou esta viagem ainda mais especial para nós. Obrigado!!!

Trabalhei para a Alaska Travel Adventures por alguns meses no verão passado. As pessoas eram boas o suficiente, embora a coisa toda fosse muito desorganizada. Eu deveria ser um motorista de ônibus / van de turismo, mas em vez disso fui colocado para trabalhar como recepcionista no escritório por um mês inteiro até que acabei indo para casa. Quase não me perguntaram se eu estava bem com isso, eles apenas insistiram que eu seria bom no trabalho e que, em vez disso, era necessário. Eu não gostava de lá, tudo estava muito ocupado apenas para nós dois. Muito desorganizado, tinha problemas por coisas que não fazia, agitado o tempo todo. Eu me inscrevi para moradia para funcionários, ficamos presos 6 em um apartamento, 2 em um cômodo mesmo em cômodos muito pequenos, apenas um banheiro em que o vaso sanitário quebrou algumas vezes e permaneceu quebrado por várias horas. Ninguém havia me avisado que seria assim. Não é recomendável para pessoas que gostam de um trabalho organizado e previsível. Eu me sinto muito flexível, mas até eu fiquei confuso com a forma desorganizada e a falta de respeito por alguns de nós, funcionários.

Tive um excelente momento com o Capitão Jay e Sara hoje e vi algumas belas baleias. Sara manteve todos entretidos com seu conhecimento da área e da vida selvagem. O barco deles é novo, rápido e legal, embora isso seja algo em que provavelmente apenas os meninos estejam interessados. De qualquer forma, essa foi uma maneira incrível de começar nossa aventura no Alasca e todos deveriam dar uma olhada nesses caras! Também precisamos agradecer a Stirling e Mary por nos levar de um lugar a outro e apontar todas as águias americanas e coisas engraçadas em Juneau.
