Koona LLC is a company that develops and markets pallet, container and truck load optimization software. The purpose of this software is to help the manufacturer or shipper reduce transportation costs by including as many items per available space as possible. Koona offers a desktop solution called Quick Pallet Maker for pallet and container fill and is currently developing a cloud-based application for truckload optimization, initially focusing on the beverage truck (multiple-bay) loading. Koona's current business model consists in selling Quick Pallet Maker licenses to customers. A SaaS model will be used with the new truck loading software and customers will be billed based on the maximum number of routes that are processed through Koona's servers per day.
