I've been volunteering with Austin State Hospital Volunteer Services Council for a while now, and it's been a positive experience overall. The staff is friendly, and the opportunities to contribute are diverse. However, there are times when the communication could be improved. Nonetheless, I highly recommend getting involved with this organization.
