I recently volunteered with a local organization that works to improve literacy in our community. The process of getting involved was a bit confusing. The website 🌐 provided good information, but the volunteer coordinator was slow to respond to my inquiries. Once I started working with learners, I found it to be a rewarding experience. The organization's efforts to support literacy education are commendable, but the communication and onboarding process could be improved to better engage volunteers. Overall, it's an average experience for those looking to support literacy in the community.
