The "SmartFunnel" enable a move from manual to automated and digital sea lice counting in salmon farms. Sea lice counts have to be reported to the Authorities weekly.The "SmartFunnel" comprises a funnel installed in the cage that the fish can swim through, a set of cameras inside the funnel that ensure a 360-degree view of the fish and machine learning to automatically detect, classify and count sea lice. This creates a controlled environment and allows to capture high-quality pictures both day and night. It also makes Fishency unique in the market as there are no other solutions offering a 360-degree view of salmon.
